The Bloody Loud Mary

At Blush Merchants, we’re big believers in bringing people together, whether it’s through flavour, fun, or a great cause.

Loud Shirt Day raises awareness and funds for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Funds raised help provide life-changing services like speech therapy, audiology, early intervention and family support – giving kids with hearing loss the tools they need to thrive.

To mark the occasion, our team created The Bloody Loud Mary, a bold gin twist on a Bloody Mary, made with our Weekender Classic Gin. We swapped vodka for gin to give it a some extra character. And to make it even more fun - we through on a loud shirt!

INGREDIENTS:

• Chilli salt (optional)
• Ice
• Weekender Classic Gin
• Spicy tomato juice (or standard)
• Green Tabasco sauce
• Celery salt
• Celery stalks, olives, and cherry tomatoes (optional garnish)
  

HOW TO MAKE IT:

Rim your glass of choice with a chilli salt (we like to use a tall glass to hold the celery stalks). 

Fill your glass with ice.

Pour your Weekender Classic Gin into the glass and top it up with tomato juice.

Add a dash (2-3 drops) of green Tabasco sauce to give it a bit of a kick and lightly stir this through with your celery stalks.

Sprinkle the top of your drink with some celery salt and garnish with olives and cherry tomatoes.
