We're proud to announce that Blush Merchants have been recognised at the inaugural 2026 Fever-Tree Gin & Tonic Awards (G&T Cup), taking home one Gold Medal and two Bronze Medals across our range.

Created by the Australian Gin Distillers Association in partnership with Fever-Tree, the G&T Cup celebrates the drink that has become synonymous with modern gin: the Gin & Tonic. Unlike traditional spirits competitions where products are judged neat, the G&T Cup evaluates the complete serve, pairing each gin with a Fever-Tree tonic to determine the best overall drinking experience.

Every entry was blind tasted by an expert judging panel comprising spirits educators, bartenders, industry ambassadors and beverage specialists. Across the competition, judges awarded 163 medals, including just 14 Gold Medals, making Gold recognition a significant achievement amongst a highly competitive field of Australian and New Zealand producers.

Gold Medal – Weekender Jalapeño Lemon Gin

Our standout result was a Gold Medal for Weekender Jalapeño Lemon Gin in the Contemporary Gin category, paired with Fever-Tree Summer Garden Tonic Water.

As one of only 14 Gold Medals awarded across the entire competition, this result is an incredible achievement and recognition of a pairing that has become a favourite at festivals, tastings and events throughout New Zealand.

Bronze Medal – Blush Citrus Gin

Our Blush Citrus Gin was awarded a Bronze Medal in the Flavoured Gin category when paired with Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water.

A classic combination, the crisp character of Indian Tonic provides the perfect foundation for the gin's bright citrus notes, delivering a refreshing serve with plenty of flavour and a clean finish.

Bronze Medal – Blush Boysenberry Gin

Our Blush Boysenberry Gin also secured a Bronze Medal in the Flavoured Gin category, paired with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water.

The softer citrus and botanical profile of Mediterranean Tonic complements the rich berry character of the gin beautifully, creating a smooth and balanced G&T that showcases the natural fruit flavours without overpowering them.
